Independent PDF tools with fewer surprises

PDFPerch is an independent browser-first document toolkit. It is not affiliated with iLovePDF, Adobe or Microsoft.

Our approach

Start with one clear task, keep common file processing local where practical, and state when text, signaling data or files leave the browser. Core tools are designed to read, transform and export files inside the browser rather than treating upload as the default architecture.

Quality standard

A page is not considered complete merely because it has an upload button. Finished tools require real processing, understandable errors and output validation. Experimental integrations are labeled Lab and kept out of search results until their infrastructure and limitations have been verified.

What we publish

PDFPerch documents practical boundaries: visual signatures are not certificate signatures, cropping is not secure redaction, and some image-based compression modes trade editability for smaller files. We prefer a precise limitation over a broad promise that cannot be tested.
