Check the portal's byte limit: 500 KB may mean 500,000 bytes, while this tool's 500 KB preset uses 512,000 bytes. For a strict 500,000-byte limit, choose 480 KB (491,520 bytes) to leave a small margin. The recorded sample happened to fit both limits; your result can differ.

Keep the original. Reopen the exported copy, zoom in on small text and check every page. A smaller file does not guarantee that a portal will accept its contents. Do not use image-based compression when editable fields or existing digital signatures must remain intact.
